A nature-based micro-preschool created to honor the early years as a sacred and formative season.
We believe quality early learning requires thoughtful limits. Serving 12 children ages 2.5–5 with a teacher-to-child ratio of no more than 1:6 creates space for strong peer and educator relationships, responsive teaching, and more individualized support.
Emotional literacy is foundational to learning. We prioritize regulation skills, emotional awareness, and communication to support independence, academic growth, and sense of belonging within the classroom community.
We are committed to a non-toxic, eco-conscious learning environment that prioritizes clean air and water, safe materials, and sensory balance to support regulation, nervous system health, and a strong connection to the natural world.
Learning unfolds in the classroom and in our surrounding community, with nature honored as our third teacher. We spend most of our days outdoors, where our hands-on, inquiry-based curriculum invites children to question, wonder, test, and explore, fostering curiosity, resilience, and environmental awareness across all areas of development.
Our approach draws from research-based pedagogies while remaining responsive to children’s interests and developmental needs. Learning is intentional and interconnected, supporting cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
We believe children are part of something larger than themselves. By stepping beyond the classroom and into local farms, parks, and neighborhoods, they begin to understand how the world works and how they belong to it, not as observers, but as active participants in a shared community.
